“This distribution agreement represents a strategic collaboration for both companies,” says Andrew Thompson, general manager at Agrisource.
Rovensa Next has a global footprint encompassing offices across 41 countries that is under pinned by 30 research and development laboratories, and is committed to developing solutions to help shape a sustainable future for global agriculture.
“For Agrisource as a privately owned New Zealand crop protection business, this partnership will help amplify our strategy to grow in the biosolutions segment within NZ,” Thompson says.
Rovensa Next represents the genesis of ten separate Rovensa Group business units coming together under the one company umbrella.
“This is a significant combining of technical knowledge, innovation and commercialisation that is going to drive new sustainable technologies and crop protection products and we are excited to be a part of it.
“Some of the legacy products that make up the Rovensa Next portfolio will already be familiar to NZ growers with brands such as Wetcit and Oroboost already well established,” he says.
Being able to immediately access available Rovensa Next products will strengthen the Agrisource horticultural offering.
“It is with great anticipation that we look forward to developing new proprietary products to meet the needs of horticulture and agriculture here in NZ.”
Rovensa Next ANZ general manager Rob Stanic fully endorses the new beginning.
“We are excited to be working with Agrisource in NZ. This distribution agreement and collaboration with Agrisource demonstrates our commitment to NZ agriculture.”
Rovensa Next head of North America and ANZ operations Johan Coetzee says the company is excited about the opportunities its global portfolio will bring to the high-tech growing operations of New Zealand.
“We look forward to our partnership with Agrisource as they support and drive ongoing portfolio development.”
